Swanswell to help communities in Leicestershire and Rutland

Swanswell will be helping even more people change and be happy after winning a contract to provide substance misuse treatment services in Leicestershire and Rutland.
Swanswell - a national charity which wants to achieve a society free from problem alcohol and drug use - will take over the delivery of these non-criminal justice services for adults in the two counties from 1 July on behalf of the Leicestershire and Rutland Drug and Alcohol Action Teams (DAAT).
Swanswell will also be working closely with Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, who will be delivering treatment services for young people, as part of the contract.
Debra Cunningham, DAAT Strategic Manager from the Leicestershire and Rutland Drug and Alcohol Action Teams, said: ‘We welcome Swanswell to our area and look forward to working closely with them. Swanswell will be delivering our non-criminal justice services across Leicestershire and Rutland.’
‘We are sure they can help us achieve our vision that service users will have fair and equitable access to substance misuse treatment services, that support successful recovery and social re-integration.’
