Pay and benefits
We reward excellent work with generous terms and conditions, and attractive benefits to enable you to live and work well.
Hours of work
We work a 37 hour week. You’ll be required to work some bank holidays and weekends in order to meet our service delivery requirements. We operate a flexible working system, so you’ll be able to work flexible hours based on service needs.
We offer 36 days holiday, including bank holidays. This will be a pro rata amount for part time team members.
We offer a company pension. Team members can contribute a maximum amount of 6% gross annual salary to this plan and Swanswell will pay in the same amount.
Pension contributions are paid via salary sacrifice which means that you’ll save on your tax and national insurance contributions. These savings will be paid as contributions into your pension. But that's not all, we’ll make a saving on national insurance which is also added to your pension.
We offer death in service cover of four times your annual salary.
We provide team members with a range of flexible benefits. These include the ability to buy and sell annual leave, a childcare voucher scheme and the Cycle to Work scheme.
Helping our team members to stay well
We care about the wellbeing of our team members and want them to feel and stay well. That’s why we run a number of initiatives that contribute to our team member’s health and wellbeing, including Stress-Free Swanswell training, complementary therapies, occupational health, employee assistance programme and a stress counsellor.
Investing in our workforce
We value our team members and their individual backgrounds, which is shown by our Investors in People, Investors in Diversity and other awards and accreditations.
